The story
Long before The Storybook Kitchen was created, owner Kait Cohen had a deep love for reading. As a child, she was enchanted by the magical worlds in her favorite stories, but it was the descriptions of food that captivated her most.
From an early age, Kait learned the art of baking from family and friends, developing a passion for crafting homemade treats. Over the years, she honed her skills, sharing her creations with her local community.
With encouragement to turn her talent into something more, The Storybook Kitchen was born-a place where the nostalgia of childhood tales meet the warmth of baked goods.
The ingredients
Whenever possible, we source ingredients from local farmers to create our baked goods. We promise to source the highest quality ingredients available to us, providing transparency along the way. You will never have to wonder how to pronounce our ingredients or wonder what you are putting into your body. We care and we challenge you to review the ingredients label on sourdough from the grocery store and compare it against our label and our taste. We mill our own grain for certain recipes, but every baked good is comprised of passion. If we wouldn’t eat it, we won’t sell it to you.
