This is the loaf that started it all. Crafted with just three simple ingredients—flour, water, and salt—and leavened with our naturally fermented sourdough starter “Frances”, this rustic loaf has a crisp, crackly crust and a soft, chewy interior with a subtle tang.
Each loaf is fermented slowly which means it’s easier to digest, has a rich depth of flavor, and is baked fresh in small batches right here in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Perfect for morning toast, hearty sandwiches, or serving alongside dinner.
Note: Delivery within Sumner County is free if your order is over $150. Outside of Sumner County the minimum is $150 plus a mileage based fee. If the pickup times do not work for you, please email me at hello@thestorybookkitchen.com.
